Tie the LP statement to the NAV pack before it goes out

Paste one investor's capital account statement and the fund's NAV pack for the same period. Your browser foots both, recomputes the investor's capital account from the NAV components at the right share, and marks every line that does not agree. It also names the causes the numbers can prove and drafts the questions for the administrator. When the corrected statement comes back, it shows what changed. All free, before you sign in. Then the desk decides whether the statement can go out, explains each break and writes the file note. Every amount it writes is checked against your figures.

The examples are made-up funds with exact allocations. Each comes with a saved review, one per verdict (release, hold, cannot tie), so you can see the whole page without signing in or spending a credit.

What this does, and what it does not

The tie-out is computed, not guessed. Income, expenses, realized and unrealized gains and carried interest are allocated at the ownership share. That share is the one the statement states, the one you enter, or, failing both, the investor's share of beginning capital. Contributions and distributions are allocated at the commitment share (commitment over total commitments). The management fee is either the investor's share of the fund's fee line or commitment × annual rate × months ÷ 12, whichever you choose. Ending capital is rolled forward from beginning capital with the recomputed components. Deductions reduce capital whichever sign the document prints them with.

It does not run your fund's waterfall, read side letters, or know about equalisation, transfers or recallable distributions, so a carry or fee difference can be legitimate. That is why a cause the numbers cannot prove is marked blocking rather than explained away. The review decides and explains from the tie-out alone and cites nothing else. Derived from the agent skill @anthropics/nav-tieout (anthropics/financial-services-plugins, Apache-2.0). Not affiliated with any fund, administrator or investor named in the examples; all three are invented.
